When he came to my door Dec 22,2010,We were having a blizzard..When my 3 kitties alerted to me that someone was at the door.I went and looked outside.It was hard to see and very cold.I found something by the porch railing and leaned over and felt fur.I knew it was a cat.I went into the house and got a warm towel from the dryer(lucky for him I was doing laundry).I picked him up and wrapped him in the towel and brought him into the house.My hubby said to me,when he noticed I had something in my arms.Dont hope to much,I think he is far gone,when he saw what I had when I unwrapped the towel and vigariously rubbed him and tried to warm him up.by this time he was floppy and not responsive and as held him,I was crying and said to him it will be ok,I am here and you are safe now.thats when he started to look up at me weakly and the purring started ,not a weak purr,a loud rumbling purr! It bout scared me! I jumped and the other 3 were around me,wondering what was wrong.I showed them Stanley and they just sniffed him and they started to lick him.well,he never left my side.He is a momma's boy.sleeps with me and follows me around the house and he gets along with the other 4 like he has always been here.I have since added 2 more due to one of my kitties,Ruthie has since passed away last year.
